Short cycling is when those run times drop to under ten minutes, sometimes under five. The system never gets a chance to actually cool the house. It just thrashes itself, wears parts out faster, and racks up an electric bill that doesn’t match the comfort you’re getting.

Why Dover Homes See This More Than Most

There’s a regional reason. Dover sits in a mixed-humid climate zone. Summers are hot, but the humidity is what tells the story.
